Khanpuri Chicken Korma

Korma is a rich, creamy, and aromatic curry made with tender chicken, yogurt, and a blend of warm spices. Infused with the flavors of coconut milk or cream, it’s a perfect dish to pair with naan, paratha, or steamed rice. Equipment

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Heavy bottom Pan
  • 1 spatula spoon

Ingredients
  

Marination Spices Qty

  • 1 kg Chicken / Lamb Qty
  • 40 ml Oil
  • 1 tbsp G& garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Korma Masala
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt marinade
  • ½ tbsp Fennel Powder
  • ¼ tbsp Ginger Powder
  • ¼ tbsp Cinnamon Powder
  • ¼ tbsp Turmeric/ Haldi
  • ¼ tbsp Kashmiri Basar
  • ½ tbsp Salt

Curry ingredients

  • 175 gms Yogurt
  • 75 gms Fried Onions
  • ¼ tsp Green Cardamom
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg Powder

Instructions
 

Prep & Marination

  • Marinate chicken using the spices with oil
  • Slice Onions and fry until Onions become brown in colour (Onions become brown in 12-13 mins) Keep them aside
  • Now add Chicken pieces and sear on high heat, after 5 mins reduce the heat and cook covered for 10-15 mins on low heat
  • Now take the fried onions & yogurt blend them & add them to the chicken
  • Now add water and bring it to boil.
  • Now, add Nutmeg Powder and mix well.
